Beginning of Day 1

The concrete pad for this home has the sill boardsย set and some of the prefab B Public panels are staged on the pad. Theย picture on the right shows the first panel being set in place.

Beginning of Day 2

Most of the wall panels are set, we could have gotย the last 3 set the first day but we left them out so the crane couldย reach the back corner and set the roof panels. We only got 1 roof panelย set on day 2 because we had to frame and set 2 center, bearing walls andย some beams to carry some of the roof panels.

Beginning of Day 3

The first roof panel is in place and most of theย needed beams are set, so we are ready to start setting roof panels. Weย had staged the roof panels down the hill in the Cul-de-sac, so we wereย bringing them up to the site on a trailer.

Beginning of Day 4

We have four (4) roof panels left to set, it shouldn’t take long! The third picture shows us setting the last roof panel at 11:37 A.M.

Day 4 – A Success!

This was our first projectย using these B Public panels and it went very well. We also achieved aย amazing blower door test after the windows were set and the seams wereย all taped. 0.072 ACH at 50 pascals!
